With over 20 years of extensive medical expertise, Dr. Shah has successfully treated numerous patients and garnered a stellar reputation in the field of surgery.
Education
Dr. Priyen Shah obtained his medical education from South Gujarat University in Surat, graduating in the year 2000. He has earned the following degrees and certifications:
- M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
- M.S. in General Surgery (Master of Surgery)
- Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (2008)
- Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastro-Intestinal Endosurgeons (2011)
Experience
With a rich professional background, Dr. Shah has gained invaluable experience through his dedicated practice. He has a diverse skill set and has performed various complex surgeries, including:
- General surgeries for hernias, anorectal conditions, G.I. perforation, malignancies, portal hypertension, spleenectomy with devascularization, CBD exploration, pancraticojejunostomy, resection and anastomosis, colectomy, APR abdominal trauma, and more.
- Laparoscopic surgeries, having conducted over 10,000 procedures. His expertise includes laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis, gall bladder diseases, hiatus hernias, achalasia cardia, lap-assisted colectomy, rectopexy, diagnostic laparoscopy, and other minimally invasive procedures.
