Education and Training
Dr Maunil Nayak completed his medical degree from Saurashtra University and went on to pursue a Master's degree in Orthopedic Surgery from the same University. He then went on and did a Johnson and Johnson Fellowship of Joint Replacement from Parekh Hospital, Ahmedabad. His extensive training in orthopedics has equipped him with a deep understanding of complex orthopedic conditions and the latest advancements in surgical techniques.

Dr. Nayak has performed numerous successful joint replacement surgeries, including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements. He stays up to date with the latest advancements in joint replacement techniques, ensuring optimal outcomes for his patients. He is a trained robotic and revision joint replacement surgeon. His special interest is in minimally invasive joint replacement surgery for knee and hip replacement and microplasty for faster recovery, minimal pain and early pursuing daily activity ,for which he has developed the “ MICROTECH” system.

- Scientific poster on "Weismann-Netter-Stuhl syndrome" - a rare form of skeletal dysplasia in GoaCon 2013.
- Scientific poster on "Vertebral column resection for correction of severe angular kyphotic deformity of D9-D10 vertebrae by only posterior approach" in GoaCon 2013.
- His scientific paper on "Unusual presentation of giant cell tumor in skeletally immature bone in diaphysis of ulna" which was published in JOCR in April-June 2015 volume.
- Research article in index journal - Indian Journal of Applied Research Vol-5, Issue-11, Nov 2015 named "A clinical study of management of intertrochanteric fracture femur in terms of proximal femoral nailing in consecutive 100 patients."
- Research work on functional outcome of cruciate retaining versus posterior stabilized knee replacement during his fellowship and presented a paper at GoaCon 2016 (national conference).
