Dr. Darshit Dalal is a highly competent oncosurgeon with extensive expertise in his field. After completing MBBS from the prestigious Smt. NHL Municipal medical college in 1990, he did his MS post graduation in General surgery from the same institute in 1993. Afterwards, he served in the capacity of a Senior registrar at the Bhatia General hospital, Mumbai from 1994 to 1995. He had the opportunity to refine his surgical abilities working with internationally reputed clinicians there. He then pursued the vigorous training in the field of cancer surgery from 1995 to 1999 at the Tata Memorial Hospital – the premier institute catering variety of cancers across the globe. He has earned the award of FICS (Onco) in 2002.

Dr. Darshit Dalal is a senior practising cancer surgeon in Ahmedabad since 1999. In his tenure, he has operated upon numerous complex cancers with successful outcomes. For length of time, he was associated with department of Head and Neck oncology at the Apollo hospitals. He has served at other corporate hospitals too.

• Under the able guidance of Dr, Darshit Dalal, hundreds of students of Ahmedabad Dental College learnt the subject of Surgery from 2005 to 2020.
• He has contributed significantly in writing the surgical topics in a book titled “Notes for Final MBBS” (Dalal-Dagli) which is very popular and widely accepted by medical students.
• He has many research publications in International and National journals credited to his name.

Because of unique region wise rotational surgical training at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Dr. Dalal has performed enumerable operations for patients of Head & Neck, Breast, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Thoracic, skin and Gynaecological cancers. His special areas of interest are Head & Neck and Breast surgeries.
